A Prayer

Blessed are those who hear the Word of God, and keep it.- Luke 11:28

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; let it be unto me according to your Word. And with that the Angel left her.- Luke 1:38

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Full of Grace, as you spoke to St. Gabriel the Archangel, escorting the Word from God the Father that you would conceive God the Word and bear Him as your Son, you received the Father's Word so completely into your Immaculate Heart that the Word was born of you and went out into the world as Man from you. In union with the God the Holy Spirit, your Divine Spouse, cry out through us and in union with us acceptance of God's All-Powerful and Holy Word, which we read in Sacred Scripture, hear from Sacred Tradition, and are taught with in the Voice of the Catholic Church; so that, throughout our whole lives, Jesus Christ may be born in our hearts, and be continually present in the world through our Love and Actions. O Mary, in whom the Holy Spirit and all the Spirit's Grace ever dwells, through the Sacramental Mysteries may the Father gather us evermore into you, the Body of Jesus Christ, so that we may be in perfect union Christ and consummate communion with the Holy Trinity, as you are, both now, and forevermore. Amen.

God the Father, Father of Mercies and the God of all Comfort, Principle of the Trinity and of Creation, Father of Lights in Whom there is no Variation or Shadow of Turning, have mercy on us.

Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Our God, Our Husband, Our Savior, Our Brother, All-Encompassing Mystery, Reality, and Logos of God, have mercy on us.

God the Holy Spirit, Our Comfort, Our true Guide, Our Communion, Giver of Life, Bestower of Gifts and Supreme Gift Thyself, Love of the Father and the Son, and Lover of Mankind, have mercy on us.

Holy Trinity, One God, Coequal, Coeternal, Consubstantial, neither Divided nor Estranged, One Living, Permeating, Active Reality, have mercy on us.

Blessed Virgin Mary, ever-Immaculate and the Mother of Our God, Virgin made Church, Spouse of the Triune God and Perfect Body of Christ,  pray for us and throw your cloak around us, now, and always.

St. Joseph, Patriarch, Descendant of David, Royal Steward, Man after God's Own Heart, Protector of the Church present in the Immaculate and Sacred Hearts and Guardian of Mary and Jesus, pray for us and, we beseech thee, by thy powerful intercession, be the aid and help of the Church Militant's return to the honor and glory that are fit for her Royalty; as you did protect the Holy Virgin chaste and spotless, so protect the Church Militant here on earth free from spot or blemish, which is but an extension of her Immaculate Heart.

St. Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us and guide us on this journey. Be in communion and conversation with our Guardian Angels; work, we pray, in the aid of our salvation, and keep the devil and his hordes at bay, in the Name of Jesus Christ and by the Almighty Power of our Triune God.
